PIPE DESCALING

Pipe descaling is the process of removing buildup from the inside of pipes. This buildup can be caused by a variety of things, including mineral deposits, rust, and grease. 

The types of pipes on your property can affect the degree of scaling. For example, cast iron pipes face more intense scaling than PVC pipes. Their inner surfaces often get coated with magnesium salts and iron oxide.When a thick layer of rust and mineral deposits forms inside a pipe, it begins to grab passing solids. After a while, the pipe gets either clogged or blocked.Pipe descaling helps to prevent these problems by removing the buildup from the inside of the pipes. This allows water to flow freely through the pipes and prevents clogs and other problems.

Descaling is a non-invasive method of removing the dense, rusty scales that have accumulated inside cast-iron pipes over time, through the use of professional descaling equipment.
